Ajira Airways
I'll start by saying that this is long but worth reading all of the way through... your mind may be blown.
Last week we saw our first glimpse of Ajira Airways during an episode of Lost. The fist notable thing about the "airline is it's name. Ajira is the Hindi word for "island". The first time we say anything about Ajira was prior to this season starting. During the full length Lost Season 5 promo featuring The Fray song "You Found Me" which was featured on both ABC.com and iTunes there were 2 flash frames of the Ajira Airways logo. Shortly there after ajiraairways.com was launched. There have been numerous Lost-affiliated websites over the years (find815.com, thehansofoundation.com) and all of them had hidden easter eggs, but most of them were not incredibly difficult to decipher. The crucial information on ajiraairways.com is a little tougher to figure out.
There are very obvious easter eggs, for example all of the photos and profiles were done by "Antonio B. MacCutcheon". Anderson MacCutcheon was the name of the Royal Navy soldier who was the namesake of MacCutcheon Scotch drank by Charles Widmore. The name "E.M. MacCutcheon" also appears on a Sky Club card for Ajira Airways on the website.
As with previous Lost-affiliated websites there are some hints hidden in the source coding for the site. For the record, my humble web design abilities allow me to manage this site and that's about it. Thanks to sethislost.com reader Josh for pointing these out to me. The following can be found in the coding:
Pineapples in Hawaii.
Supersonic is commercial thirty till meridian.
"Where America's day begins." (The official motto of Guam... more on this in a bit)
"So off they started about Irish sport and shoneen games the like of lawn tennis and about hurley and putting the stone and racy of the soil and building up a nation once again and all of that." This is a quote from James Joyce's novel 'Ulysses'.
"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life."
This is the very famous John 3:16 passage from the bible.

The last one is most interesting to me for a number of reasons. In one of the promotional video's for Ajira Airways (see below this paragraph) that has been released there is a flash frame of a man holding a sign that says "जॉत 3:16" which translates to John 3:16... I'll get back to John 3:16 in a bit.

The lighthouse or beacon Dharma logo may also have been on the computer Eloise Hawking was using to calculate the location of the Island.

Hey Seth, comment on last night's episode: Do you think that when Charlotte told Jin not to bring her back, this place is death, etc etc ... was she remembering when Daniel told her mother that and just repeating it like she was repeating other random things from her childhood?? The easy thing for us to all think is that she means Sun and the baby, but I don't think it's that simple. Wanted to know your thoughts, thanks ...

Quite possible... the whole idea of Sun coming back is tricky anyway because while I think she would do anything to save Jin is she just going to leave her Daughter in Korea with her mother? Plus it looks like they may have to endure another plane crash to get back to the island (although we don't know that for sure). Is that something they can put kids like Aaron and Ji-Yeon through?

A theory that I have just considered is did Jack's Dad die on purpose to originally bring the people to the Island? It seems that there are going to be some paralels to how Locke and Jack's Dad are going to end up at the Island. Jack's Dad was in a casket when the Oceanic flight crashed and Locke will be in a casket with the Arija flight that will bring them back to the Island. Just wondering if down the road we could see a flashback to Jack's Dad being on the Island or meeting Ben and Ben telling Jack's Dad to make the same sacrifice (IE dying) to bring everyone to the Island.

Good theory... very well could be. Afterall it seems pretty obvious that he was able to do plenty with his life without his wife or son knowing (ie fathering Claire) so I would say this still falls in the realm of possibility.

Has anyone figured out that Ellie(the young 1950's British woman on the island in the Jughead episode) is a young Eloise Hawking? My theory is that she and Charles Widmore are the parets of Daniel Farraday, making him Penny's brother.

Yep, that is a pretty popular theory that has been floated around the site before. It seems quite likely considering that Widmore was also the one who was funding Faraday's research.
